Prevention representative

The prevention representative is a specialist in workplace health and safety with the department. This person is an expert in the laws and regulations in this area so that work is done effectively, while respecting the defined standards.

The prevention representative provides support to staff, managers and local health and safety committees that require opinions or advice in this matter.

This person also carries out inspections of work premises, work accident investigations and identifies situations that may be a source of danger for staff.
