Intervention officer

Intervention officers provide support to the local police stations in maintaining public peace. They do regular patrols and respond to calls, while carrying out the duties of a generalist officer.

When the situation requires, they take part in first-line interventions, by providing their expertise, for example, to contain crowds, establish safety perimeters and carry out high-risk tactical manoeuvres.
