Coordinator – Anti-terrorism, emergency measures and operational support

The coordinator of anti-terrorism, emergency measures and operational support develops training programs intended to maintain and develop work skills for dog teams (teams comprised of a dog handler and dog).

In addition, the coordinator's duties include:

• Ensure training for the specialized dog in explosives detection and intervention in police operations
• Manage and coordinate the activities in respect to the department's dog and puppy sponsorship program Ensure their health and training
• Conduct annual validation of dog handler qualifications
