Sexual assault | Mark Pomeranz arrested: Potential victims and witnesses sought

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is seeking potential victims of Mark Pomeranz, 54, arrested last August 27 for sexual assault. The investigators have good reason to believe that the suspect may have had other victims, particularly within the Indigenous community. The investigation team also wants to gather testimony from anyone who may have witnessed his actions.

According to the information collected, after isolating the victim, he committed sexual assault, using threats and intimidation, before abandoning his victim and driving away.

The investigation has revealed that the suspect may be connected to other similar events.

Mark Pomeranz is a white man, aged 54, who speaks English. He is 5’5” (1.75 m) tall and weighs 180 lbs (82 kg). He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
