Our goals

Citizens are at the heart of the SPVM's concerns. As such, Neighbourhood Police Station 35 puts the citizens of its sector in the centre of its service offer while maintaining a quality partnership with local players and the population.

Over the past year, Neighbourhood Police Station 35 met with and consulted its citizens and partners to learn their expectations and concerns, and their needs. The orientations for 2017 were determined based on these meetings. To ensure safety in Little Italy//La Petite-Patrie, in accordance with the priorities of the SPVM, the team at Neighbourhood Police Station 35 is working to make a local diagnosis and apply the appropriate actions with respect to the following components:

Crime

  • Graffiti
  • Commercial and residential breaking and entering
  • Bike thefts
  • Raise the awareness of potential human trafficking and juvenile prostitution victims

Road safety

  • Prioritize police interventions on Rosemont Blvd.
  • Ensure sound and safe coexistence between different road users as part of various operations
  • Road safety prevention workshops for different neighbourhood clienteles

Sense of security

Patrolling by car, bike and on foot, ensure visibility in these places:

  • Parks
  • Near erotic massage parlours/licenced establishments
  • Near the metro stations
  • Plaza St-Hubert and Marché Jean-Talon
