Our goals
The team at PDQ 31 works to maintain security in its territory, in compliance with the SPVM's global priorities. To this end, the team has established these objectives :
The development and upgrading of skills
- Promote and ensure the ongoing training of police officers, particularly in employment of force and emergency measures
The prevention of abuse of people with special needs
- Work with the schools principals to continue the fight against bullying
- Meet the needs of young people and seniors in preventing violence and abuse by working with local organizations already involved with these clients
- Ensure the visibility and accessibility of police officers on the street by maximizing foot and bicycle patrol
- Intervene on crimes and incivilities which contribute to the feeling of insecurity of citizens
Road safety and road sharing
- Improvement of the road safety record by intervening daily by using prevention and suppression on behaviours of the various users of the road (motorists, pedestrians, cyclists)
