Our goals

Neighbourhood Station 1 is pleased to present the major 2022 local priorities developed in collaboration with our citizens and partners. You will find the objectives we have set for ourselves in order to ensure security in our neighborhood. These key priorities are agreed upon within the unit, thus enabling the PDQ 1 team to be engaged and committed.

YOUR LOCAL PRIORITIES

Provide you with a high quality customer experience:

• Listen to your needs and concerns;
• Strengthen our partnerships and share our expertise;
• Adapt our patrol plans to meet your needs.

Optimize and maximize police visibility in our five (5) municipalities:

• Hold information sessions for seniors on fraud and abuse prevention;
• Hold prevention activities in schools;
• Promote a reassuring police presence at your major events.

Help improve road safety by providing visibility in the vicinity of accident areas:

• Conduct targeted prevention and enforcement operations based on the type and location of the issue;
• Conduct speed control operations, including school zones and other accident prone locations;
• Conduct impaired driving prevention operations throughout the territory;
• Participate in municipal traffic committees.
