SPVM trying to identify fraud suspects

The Section des Crimes économiques (Economic Crime Section) is seeking information to identify six suspects involved in fraud committed last month in West Island. These individuals are going round door-to-door offering their services to repair pavements on private entrances. They then pocket full payment from their victims without carrying out the work.

A surveillance camera has captured pictures of the suspects. They are men aged from around 25 to 45 who speak English with a pronounced accent and claim to be originally from Ireland.

Suspect 1
Around 40, with a beard a few days old and brown hair. He is wearing a long-sleeved, black and red sweater, an orange worker’s jacket, navy pants and sports shoes.

Suspect 2
He is wearing a navy cap with a red and white logo, an orange worker’s jacket, beige pants and black shoes.

Suspect 3
Around 45, he has dark brown hair and is wearing a blue and white checked shirt, black pants and dark brown shoes.

Suspect 4
Around 25, with a trimmed beard and dark brown hair. He is wearing an orange worker’s jacket, navy pants and dark brown working boots.

Suspect 5
Around 25, he has wavy black hair and is wearing a white undershirt or an orange worker’s jacket, jeans and dark brown working boots.

Suspect 6
Around 35, with dark brown hair. He is wearing a blue, long-sleeved sweater, black pants and grey shoes.
