Moped

Mopeds may resemble motor assisted bicycles and electric mopeds, but they are fuel-powered.

 

 

 

 

Rules

The driver must wear a helmet (section 2 of the Protective Helmets Regulation).

Other than the fact that you can use limited access roads, the road rules are the same.

Highway Safety Code

Drivers must have a Class 6D or other class of motorcycle licence, or a Class 5 licence.

The vehicle must have a permit.
